Hurstville v Wakehurst 4-1 WIN
In their last match of the season, the Hurstville Mixed Pennants team came away with an impressive 4/1 win over the team from Wakehurst Golf Club at Bardwell Valley Golf Course.
The No. 1 pair of David and Judy had a tight match that went all the way to the 17th hole before they went down 2/1. The remaining teams all came away with strong wins to end the season on a positive note.
As it was the last match, we would like to thank Peter Allam for managing the team. It is a job that starts months before a ball is hit and is similar to herding cats. Well Done Pete and Thanks!

That’s it for the Mixed Pennants this year. Unfortunately, the team did not make it into the next round with Randwick and Ryde Parramatta progressing. Hurstville came third ahead of Wakehurst courtesy of our win ratio. Bardwell Valley was last in the pool.
Thank you to everyone who was involved this year. While we didn’t get the results we would have liked, we can come back bigger and stronger next year.
