2025 Hurstville Super Senior Pennants (SSP)
Hurstville GC (HGC) moved into Round 2 yesterday, Monday 21 July at Bonnie Doon GC.
The course was in immaculate condition with very fast and subtle greens. The weather was perfect for golf. Our team faced a very experienced team from The Lakes. In the end The Lakes proved far to strong and won the game 6.5 to our 1.5. Our little dynamo, Danny Petkovski, won his match 2up and Warwick Berrett (ex-Kogarah) forced a squared match. Our #1, Colin Kent performed very well and held Roy Vandersluis until the 17th hole. Roy has won National and State senior events, so Colin’s performance was very good indeed. Our other players tried their best but the opposition was better on the day.
