Hurstville v Cronulla at St Michaels Golf Course
Hurstville GC (HGC) Round 3 game at St Michaels yesterday was against the Cronulla Team. The golf course was in immaculate condition however the greens were 2 paced and slowish. Our team reported there were too many 3 putts to be really competitive on the day. Nevertheless, the weather was very good with a good breeze.
Our team faced a very competent Cronulla Team and although we held them to the challenge their short games led them to a comprehensive win in the end. Cronulla won the game 7 to 1. Danny Rothwell proved too strong for his opponent as he won 3&2. Our boys played well but agreed the greens were difficult. Our opponents coped better on the day.

We welcomed Joe Belinha and Roy Marshall back to the 2025 team and we missed Tony Webb, who was struck down with a nasty viral infection. Congratulations to the Cronulla Team for their well earned success.
Our next game is at The Lakes GC on Monday, 4 August, where Hurstville will play Woolooware in the fourth round.
