Hurstville 4½ Defeated Roseville 2½
The Men’s Major Pennant team faced Roseville at home on a wet Sunday. The course needed the rain, but I’m sure the players would have preferred it to have held off until they were finished.
After losing to Roseville last week, the pressure was on to deliver a home win. The Hurstville team stepped up with a strong 4½ to 2½ win, with many of the matches ending early. This is a contrast to last week’s matches, which were all closely contested affairs.
Shout out to Khristian Kerrigan, who had a 7&5 win in his first match of the season. The mid-week practice sessions paid off.
