Barnwell Park was the venue for this week’s Major Pennant match. The course is short but tight which must have suited the Hurstville team as they upset the home team by taking a 4/3 win.
Peter Tunks and Michael Brandt both had impressive wins with scores of 4&3 and 5&4 respectively. The last 4 matches were tight and all went down to the 18th hole. They resulted in a win, a loss and two ties, which was enough for the Hurstville team to take the honours for the day.
