Hurstville 1½ Lost to Northbridge 5½
For the penultimate game of the section rounds, Hurstville travelled north to face Northbridge. Northbridge were the winners on the day, which reinforces the theory than no good comes from crossing the Harbour Bridge.
Four matches went to the 18th hole but only Shane Kearney was able to take a win. Todd Shaw was so close to winning but had to settle for squaring his match. Unfortunately, Peter Tunks and Michael Brandt just missed out with 1 down losses.

In the other section match Roseville defeated Barnwell Park today. The results from today see Northbridge and Roseville move ahead of Hurstville by ½ point.
The winner of the section will be decided in the last round which will take place on the 8 March. This also happens to be my birthday. For my present I’m expecting a big home win from the Hurstville team and a bit of an upset from the other match to see our men go through to the semi finals.
