Women's B1 Pennant - Round 4
Hurstville 1½ Lost to Woolooware 3½
The Bronze 1 Pennant team were at The Coast today for a match against Woolooware. The conditions were good for golf – a bit overcast and the wind was manageable considering how bad it can get on the coastal courses.
A last minute team reshuffle saw Linda Rolfe come into the team at No 1 where she was the boss of her match with a 6&4 win. Michelle and Dale both took their matches to the 18th hole but couldn’t quite get across the line to claim a win. Vicki came from 3 down on the 12 hole to be 1 up on the 17th hole, only to completely bugger up the last hole and finish with a tie.
Special shout out to Julie Moon who, like Linda, came into the team last minute. Julie played up a grade and as a result she was required to play with a lower handicap. Had Julie been able to play off her normal handicap the result in her match would have been much closer.
