Hurstville 0 Lost to Cronulla 4
A small but mighty Hurstville team travelled to Woolooware for the penultimate match of the 2026 season. Once again, we enjoyed a lovely and plentiful lunch. Takeaway containers of leftover Vietnamese chicken salad will be gracing dinner tables across Southern Sydney tonight.
The golf was hard. No 1 and almost undefeated Linda put pressure on her Cronulla opponent to take her match to the 17th hole before succumbing to a 2/1 loss. Donna also made it to the 17th before going down 3&1.
From the 15th hole, Michelle and Vicki could see across to the treacherous 16th hole, a par 3 with a long water carry, and decided … not today. Both wisely ended their match on the 15th with 4&3 losses.
