The Monday Volunteers have been hard at work on a range of projects. This week, Steve Rennie and Dave Croot finished work on a new path down the alternate tee on the 3rd hole.
The nasty, slippery mud track has gone. In its place is a new path with a stabilising grid to provide grip and allow the grass to grow. Steve and Dave have also given the garden a bit of a makeover. Thanks, guys, for the great job.
You will see lots of other projects going on around the course, including garden clean-ups around the 1st, 10th and 8th tees; new plants in the garden at the back of the 9th hole; weeding and mulching the entrance gardens; and the enormous task of cutting back the plants around the dam. There are also regular volunteers who fill divots, trim back trees, spray weeds, uncover sprinklers and markers, and clean ball washers.
Thank you to all our volunteers!
