2026 Hurstville Super Senior Pennants (SSP)
Hurstville GC (HGC) Team in 2026 has had an infusion of new talent. Our Club Captain, Todd Shaw has joined the SSP ranks. We also welcome Ian Rydstrand, Davis Feldstead, Bruce Russell, John Worthington and Jimmy White.
Our first game was at Kareela GC and our opponent was Cronulla. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy and windy. As an indication, carts were not allowed on course over the weekend, so it was already rain affected. Our guys reported very wet fairways and when the greens went under, the game was abandoned. Our first pair couldn’t finish the ninth hole which resulted in a squared game with Cronulla, under the SSP Rules.

RESULT: CRONULLA 4 Drew with HURSTVILLE 4
Compliments to our Team for their efforts, under very poor conditions. Special mention of Todd’s six holes. He was 1 under par and 2 up in his match in poor conditions.
We move into Round 2 next Monday, 13 July at 10.30am at Bonnie Doon GC against St Michaels.
